Denmark blocks unlicensed sites through the courts, and ISPs apply DNS blocks once a court confirms a site is illegal. The largest single order since the market opened in 2012 came from the Frederiksberg Court on June 26, 2025, and covered 178 sites. On July 8, 2026, the same court approved blocks on 98 more sites, which brought the total to 870. Mirror copies of a site a court has already ruled illegal are blocked without a new court order under an agreement between Spillemyndigheden and the ISP association Teleindustrien.
